Why I chose to be an accountant

After months of planning, I finally decided to join the real estate industry with my dream career! In this article, I will share some details about why I chose to become an accountant instead of a lawyer, talk about how it feels when you are in finance and talk about what type of people you need to be around if you want your life to turn out well.

When I was younger, I knew that I wanted to be an accountant. It seemed like a good choice since there were many jobs available to me as a young person. However, I soon realized that there was still a lot more work to do to finish high school, which meant that I would have to continue studying and get into college.

In addition, not all of my friends had gone into accounting or business, so I had to find a way to start at ground zero. This led me to the question of whether I should pursue real estate after I finished high school. With that being said, I started doing research on how to become an accountant at age 15 and came across receitas emagrecedoras (REs). The idea behind REs is quite simple. You are given a task and need to fill out forms and submit documents in order to receive a certain amount of money. If these documents are correct, you get paid for them. That’s it.

It sounds easy, but it was hard at first to understand the concept, especially since I wasn’t used to working with numbers. At first, I thought that they just sent us paper checks and that we needed someone to help us write them and give instructions on how to sign them. To make matters worse, I hadn’t worked with numbers before, which only made things harder. Eventually, I got better at solving math problems and began to learn basic computer programming and design. Soon enough, I began to understand the intricacies of the process and learned how the systems worked.

After learning more and more, I found an agency called Rebeca. Rebeca is run by two women, Yolanda Salguero-Reyes and Anjelita Varela, who both came from broken homes. They say that the main goal of Rebeca is to remove barriers and build bridges between generations of Latin Americans. Their mission statement reads “to empower our community through education, entrepreneurship, employment opportunities, healthcare, and financial services that benefit our communities and individuals for life.”

I chose to be an accountant because it seemed like a great fit for me. As soon as I signed up, I knew that I wanted to provide a service to others. One aspect of being an accountant is helping other people with their taxes. This was something I always loved to do. Being able to help others is one of my favorite aspects about being an accountant. Of course, you can also work with companies and businesses to ensure that things run smoothly. For example, Rebeca provides tax guidance along with payroll processing services to help their clients manage their finances.

As with any job, it’s important to choose the right company and partner with professionals who are willing to work hard for you. Even though I signed up with Rebeca, I didn’t know anyone there. Fortunately, I stumbled upon another agency that worked with the same philosophy as Rebeca. Since joining the team, I have gotten involved with several different projects and gained valuable experience in areas such as marketing, advertising, data analysis, project management, etc. My role has been to communicate the vision of Rebeca and guide them throughout the whole process. Now, I am happy to see the positive changes that have come with taking full advantage of the opportunities provided by RebecA.

When I joined the agency, there were three main types of participants: Rebeca employees; non-Rebeca employees; and contractors. Non-Rebeca employees were those who would take the work from outside of Rebeca and complete it on their own time. Contractors came from various industries, including lawyers, accountants, architects, engineers, etc. We hired mostly people who had experience in related fields, such as IT, software developers, web development, digital marketers, etc. These professionals had experience in developing new technologies, managing budgets, training employees, and others things. By doing so, they could provide reliable, dependable results.

As far as contract structures go, the most common structure involves three parties who agree to pay each other for the work. There are four options available to the client: hourly rate, fixed price, flat fee, and contingency fees. Hourly rates usually involve providing a single payment per hour, which means that it requires the client to work closely with the contractor. Fixed prices are those that specify the exact cost for a specific task. They tend to be more flexible, but it doesn’t include contingencies. Flat fees are agreements where the client pays the total cost upfront without having to change anything, like a typical car repair. Contingency fees are payments made based on unexpected events. So often, if the customer needs a certain part to the project, he/she can ask for it. Most of the time, the client decides on his own what he wants to do.

The biggest challenge I faced when starting was communication. Every day at work, we had meetings with everyone from different departments. Each meeting lasted for two hours, during which we discussed what had been done during previous meetings, what we were able to accomplish during the next meeting, etc. When I started, my supervisor kept calling me and asking me questions like “What did you end up doing today?” and “What did everyone do last night?” Sometimes she also asked questions about my grades and made comments like “you need to improve your attendance today” because I was getting late. Although I tried to explain that I got distracted last week and that I had to catchup, sometimes her words would stick in my head.

Luckily, the company I worked for gave me lots of support during this period, allowing me to focus on the actual work. All of the conversations that I had with my co-workers made me realize that even though it was uncomfortable, I needed to keep focusing on accomplishing goals rather than worrying about what others think of me.

Overall, the first year has been a little bit challenging and challenging. Despite everything that happened, I have managed to achieve success so far. I have seen improvements in my scores, which helped me obtain a 4.0 GPA. I am now in year four of university, and I have already received acceptance letters from five universities and seven colleges. From here, I hope to secure higher positions in my field and move forward with my studies.
